According to the World Health Organisation, a mental health disorder is characterized by a clinically significant disturbance in an individual’s cognition, emotional regulation, or behaviour. It is usually associated with distress or impairment in important areas of functioning. There are many different types of mental disorders. Mental Health Disorder is not limited to one group of people. Anyone can be affected by any mental health issue. Additionally, a mental health disorder is not a curse, karma or witchcraft; no one can curse you with depression or anxiety.
Commonly associated with WAR-related TRAUMA are Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Anxiety, Depression and Stress. When not treated, these are known to lead to substance abuse, such as drugs and alcohol, and suicidal ideations.
