The Feelings Wheel or Wheel of Emotions helps you name and identify your feelings. The link below gives the steps for using the wheel. Since discovering this fantastic tool, I have become better at understanding and learning to sit with my emotions rather than fight or avoid them. For example, we may feel a certain way without knowing why; I may feel bad, then I will need to work out if it is because I am tired and focused or too busy and rushed. Once I realise this, I can change my schedule. We do not live in a vacuum world, allowing things to happen and sitting idly doing nothing, hoping it works out. We must cautiously and intentionally work it out each second of the day to live productively.
